Intrepid is a nondenominational Christian church in Gig Harbor, Washington focused on sharing God's grace and truth with all of our neighbors. You might be thinking, "Intrepid? That's a different name for a church." That's cool, because Intrepid is a different kind of church.
We are a church for anyone. That's right, we'll let anyone in here. Anyone - regardless of background, struggle, worldview, or level of religious exposure - is welcome at Intrepid.
We are a church for those who don't have it all together. We are a church for people with questions, doubts, and fears. We are a church where people can come as they are and be themselves. We are a church that is fun, real, and wants to make a difference in your life and in our community.
Intrepid is all about relationships. We focus on loving God and our neighbors. Our goal is to follow Jesus, which leads to a life of adventure.
Get to know us by checking out our website or join us next Sunday at 10:30am.
Fear can keep us from living full, meaningful lives. We fear failure, so either we don't try, or we pursue success at the expense of our families, friendships, and health. We fear rejection, so we isolate ourselves and hide our struggles and imperfections. What if we don't have to live in fear?
God loves you. He loves you on your good days and on your worst days. Our name was inspired by a passage in the Bible: "There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love. We love because He (God) first loved us."
- 1 John 4:18-19
Intrepid means "adventurous, bold, fearless." We can live without fear because of God's great love for us. We can live without fear because Jesus Christ took the punishment we deserve for our sin when He died on the cross.
You are invited to join us as we learn to love & live fearlessly.
